[TOPIC UNDER CONSTRUCTION]
Hello all.

Obviously, many of you want to start raiding and I am right there with ya. But before we actually venture into something like Naxx 10 man or something for the first time as a guild, there are a few requirements that must be met. Below are a few general numbers 'n things that you should have before you are deemed "ready-4-raidin". Like I said, these are GENERAL numbers, more so of an average guidline for all class types (dps, tank, healz). For any information more specific to your class, please contact myself (Aerodir), or the mentor of your class to figure out exactly where you need to be. In-game mail is preferred for questions if we are offline.

[For the gear ratings 'n such, you can look them up on this website: http://be.imba.hu (ask me ingame for help if needed)]

DPS:
Now, first thing I'm going to discuss is the dps. Now, with dps making up most of any group (raid or instance), these people serve a vital. Sure, a tank is needed and so are healers, but every point of damage that the dps does (or doesn't) counts. So, for dps'ing in 10 raids, there are a few things you gotta have.

1) gear score of 300+ (if you have mostly herc blues, you should be ok)
2) average dps of 1800+ (for casters), 1700+ (for melee)
3) knowledge of your class and a decent spell rotation

TANK:
The front line in keeping everybody from getting pwned. The tank's main role is to make sure all focus is on them and them alone. They shouldn't have to worry about damage output except on the basis of keeping threat. Therefore, tanks are more dependent on a high def capp and stamina instead of attack power and crit chance. As for numbers, this is what a tank should aim for:

1) gear score of 300+
2) be deff capped (exact numbers comming soon)
3) have XXX amount of health (exact numbers comming soon)

HEALS:
Last but certainly not least, the healers. The healers only role is to keep everybody alive. With that in mind, there are usually anywhere from 2~3 (10 man) to 5 (25 man) healers in a raid group, and sometimes more. Each healer is typically given a specific area/group to heal, with one usually focused on the tank and only on the tank. Although the exact role may be different, the numbers for a healer are roughly the same. The stats to aim for for a healer are:

1) gear score of 300+
2) at least 17,000 mana (unbuffed)
3) spell power (comming soon)

In conclusion, please aim for the goals I stated here for your specific role. Not only with this get you ready for raids, but it will make it that much easier to clear out those last few heroics you need for them damned achievements. So, if you have any questions, please send me an in-game mail, talk to me while online in-game or on vent, or send me an email at: aerothosis@gmail.com
